Ministries

Here are brief descriptions for various ministries the church provides for further proclamation of Christ and presenting every man complete in Christ:

Lord’s Day Worship Service

The pattern of the New Testament church was resurrection day gathering to worship the risen Lord Jesus Christ. This duly constituted service for the people of God is the anchor by which the church is ministered to by the word of God and fellowship. We strive to be faithful to the instructions given to us for the worship of Christ during the service in verse-by-verse expositional preaching (2 Tim 4:1-2), public reading of scripture (1 Tim 4:13), singing (Col 3:16), giving (1 Cor 16:2), regular participation in communion (1 Cor 11:23-25) and fellowship (Gal 6:2). Each of these elements calls us to worship with our heart, soul, mind and strength together as the one, unified body of Christ.

Please join us every Sunday at 9am

Hebrews 10:23-25, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”

Men’s Ministry

This ministry exists to develop and strengthen men of all ages to reflect their Lord and Master Jesus Christ in every area of life and ministry. The men meet and tackle various biblical issues like leadership in the church, biblical sanctification, Bible study, preaching, leadership in the home, doctrine, biblical philosophy of ministry and current issues in the church and culture. Our desire is to cultivate men of steadfast conviction in the word of God and train the men of the next generation to continue the work of the ministry in faithfulness.

entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also”

Women’s Ministry

This ministry exists to develop and strengthen women of all ages to reflect their Lord and Master Jesus Christ in every area of life and ministry. The women meet to challenge each other in the distinct ways the Lord has gifted women for life and ministry in the church. It is a unique time for women to fellowship with one another in the truths of God’s word through a particular book study or book of the Bible. Our desire is to cultivate women of steadfast conviction in the word of God and to model for next generation faithfulness in the work of the ministry.

Titus 2:3-5, “Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.”

Children’s Ministry

This ministry exists to preach the gospel and biblical truth faithfully to the next generation. Our children are the next generation of the church. They are a precious resource in the life of the church. In our curriculum, we teach the major biblical themes through the books of the Bible. The children are challenged to memorize verses and are taught songs to praise the God who created them. All the children begin with their parents in the main Lord’s Day service until they are called to their classes with their teachers. We take seriously the developing the next generation to believe the gospel by faith and a biblical view of the church and the world.

Biblical Counseling

Life on life discipleship is an essential part of Christianity and the life of the church (Matt 28:20). Salvation is only understood through the truths of the gospel written in the word of God (Ps 19:7, Rom 10:8-11). Growth in the Christian life, namely sanctification, is also to be understood to only come through the word of God (John 17:17). We are committed to care and nurture souls through the only means God has established, His word. The curse of sin has affected man physically and spiritually. Those who are trained in the area of objective and observable pathologic physical phenomena will treat in that manner. However, each one is accountable to God for the response to spiritual truths He has revealed in His word in the hard/broken circumstances they live. Whatever circumstance needs spiritual wisdom and understanding, the authority and sufficiency of scripture will give life, hope, encouragement, conviction and power to change the heart/soul/mind (possibly even physical, Ps 32:3-4) through the implications they teach. Worship in transformation and the understanding of the will of God takes place by the renewal of the mind through the scriptures (Rom 12:2-3). The eternal answers for life can only come through the eternal word of God (Heb 4:12). If there is a need for you or your family, please go to our “contact page” to contact our leadership.

2 Peter 1:2-4, “Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust.”
